In 2022, she won the prestigious Charles Mingus Composition Award for her song Wish I Could Sing, further confirming her exceptional talent as a composer. Earlier, she was awarded the Grachtenfestival Pitch prize, recognising her artistic vision and distinctive creative voice. Her work has also been featured in her own episode of New Generation on NPO2, introducing her artistry to a wider national audience.

A defining moment in FENNE's career came with the release of her second album, Angel With A Darkness, through Vokall in 2024. The record showcased a confident artistic evolution, expanding her signature blend of soul, jazz, and contemporary pop while remaining rooted in honest storytelling and rich musical arrangements. The album resonated with audiences, accumulating more than six million streams on Spotify and leading to multiple sold-out headline performances. Since the release of Angel With A Darkness, FENNE has continued to expand her artistic universe through a steady stream of singles released with Vokall.
