TOS is an Amsterdam-based singer, songwriter, producer and performer creating a distinctive blend of neo-soul, R&B, hip-hop and jazz. In December 2024, TOS presented his debut album “PISCES TALES” at Amsterdam's Paradiso. The project brought together different sides of his artistic identity, exploring emotional openness, relationships, self-reflection and personal growth. Tracks including “REALLY”, “NARCISSISM”, “LOVE LANGUAGE” and “SIMPLY LOST” demonstrate his ability to move between soulful melodies, introspective songwriting and contemporary production. The album established an important foundation for his career, introducing listeners to a more complete picture of his musical world.
TOS is also a compelling live performer, bringing an instinctive sense of rhythm and movement to the stage. His performances combine powerful vocals, spontaneous musical moments and a natural connection with the audience. Working with a three-piece band featuring guitarist Johnny Biner, bassist Richard Nacinelli and drummer Kasparas Petkus, he creates performances that allow the music to develop organically. Improvisation plays an important role, giving the musicians room to respond to one another and bringing a fresh energy to each show. His appearances at venues such as Paradiso and De Roode Bioscoop have helped establish him as an exciting presence in Amsterdam's contemporary soul scene.
Collaboration has become an increasingly important part of TOS's musical development. His work with Utrecht-based trio .multibeat brings together his soulful vocal delivery with the group's blend of jazz musicianship, hip-hop beats and contemporary R&B. Their collaboration “Hold Me Down” showcases this chemistry particularly well, pairing warm keyboard arrangements, rich basslines and laid-back rhythms with TOS's heartfelt songwriting. The track explores trust, closeness and vulnerability, reflecting the emotional honesty that runs throughout his music. It also features on .multibeat's album “OOO”, released through Berlin-based Sonar Kollektiv.
